Our client, headquartered in Singapore, is a leading logistics services provider serving a wide range of industry from chemical to retail. With its excellence in provision of integrated freight and logistics solutions, the expansion of its business has deepen global presence in over 10 countries across Oceania and Asia.


This role will undertake the responsibility of promoting the company’s full range of FCL, LCL, Import and Export, air and ocean freight services.


The Challenges

  • Managing sales activity from start to finish; researching/ sourcing new clients through varies means (telemarketing, direct mail, personal solicitation
  • Approaching perspective clients in order to establish their Air/ Ocean freight requirements; follow up with requested quotations
  • Develop new Ocean Freight business opportunities especially LCL business and enhance customer relationships
  • Responsible for securing profitable Ocean Freight and LCL business growth and achieving revenue/volume target
  • Cross departmental collaboration to ensure service excellence
  • Make sure that new business is managed and put into operation
  • Maintain strong commercial relationships with new and perspective customers
  • Identify means of improving services and quality to customers, to encourage continued business development and customer longevity

What It Takes

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain, Business Management
  • At least 5 years experience of selling Air/ Ocean freight services in global freight forwarding establishment
  • A proven track record of sales success
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the freight forwarding, trade lane, shipping market
  • Business and commercial acumen
  • Good communication and customer facing skills
  • Self motivated and target driven
